Pretty in Paint Parties FAQ

Q: Where is Pretty in Paint Parties located?

A: We are a nationwide company with artists located throughout the country.  Our Headquarters is located in Pennington, NJ.

Q: Do you come to my house?

A: Yes. We are a mobile only company. Our locations are on-site whether it be your home, office, school, restaurant or any location you provide.

Q: How much does it cost per person?

A: $35 per person for 16×20 canvas.  No hidden fees or travel rates. (We do, however, have other products like wooden hangers called PIP Shapes starting $40 each).  Please check out our pricing page for more options.

Q: Does the fee include all supplies?

A: Yes, the artist will bring all supplies necessary for the paint party including aprons and tablecloths as well as all items needed for the masterpiece. You only need to supply the location, tables, & chairs.

Q: Can I supply the supplies and you send the artist for a cheaper rate?

A: No, Pretty in Paint uses the same materials in all states and we like to maintain that same exceptional quality across the board.

Q: Do you provide food & wine?

A: No. All food & drinks are at the discretion of the Host.

Q: Is there a minimum or maximum amount of people?

A: There is a minimum of 8 guests with no maximum. We have accommodated parties of over 200 guests.

Q: Do you do fundraisers?

A: Yes. Our fundraisers are $45 per person. Pretty in Paint donates $15 back per person, which equals 51% of our net profit of the party.

Q: Can I choose the painting?

A: Yes, you choose from our gallery or you can have a custom made painting for your event for an extra fee of $25.

Q: What size is the canvas & what kind of paint is it?

A: It is a 16×20 wrapped canvas ready to hang & we use acrylic paint.

Q: How long does it take?

A: The painting portion takes 1.5-2 hours. It generally takes our artist 30 minutes for setup & cleanup, depending on the size of the party.

Q: Is the paint messy?

A: We use acrylic non-toxic paint. It is very forgiving on most surfaces. However, it will stain clothing and rugs. If you plan to paint in a room with a carpeted surface we require that you cover it in case of small accidents like the drop of a brush. Our artists always leave with all of their mess. The only thing you will be left with is your painting.

Q: How do we pay?

A: Payments are accepted online. Your attending artist will reach out to you and discuss all of the details on payment.

Q: Do you attend corporate events?

A: Yes. Pretty in Paint specializes in both large and small corporate team building events. They have all proven to be very successful.

Q: What can I expect after I speak to the artist?

A: You will receive a Confirmation of the party that will include the date, time, location and the painting that will be painted at the party.  You can send this to your guests!  You will also receive a Liability Form from our Compliance Department that must be signed prior to the party.  If you have not received both the Confirmation and the Liability Form, then your party is not confirmed and you should follow up with your Pretty in Paint Artist.
